BROMSGROVE’S Pets at Home store will be holding free children’s workshops in conjunction with the Big Garden Birdwatch.
Tomorrow and Sunday the My Pet Pals sessions will help educate the next generation of bird lovers.
Subjects covered will include helping birds survive the colder months, how and what to feed them and examine how human behaviour can negatively affect them.
Children will also learn how to recognise different species and how to attract them to their garden and other outdoor spaces using materials provided.
Pets at Home is supporting the RSPB’s Wild Challenge with nature based activities for children. By completing the workshop, they can tick off one of the challenges and will receive a certificate recognising the achievement and other goodies.
