SOUTH Bromsgrove High School student Daniel Arkell is celebrating motocross championship success.
The 13-year-old has just won a 24-race winter competition held at tracks across the Midlands.
The championship ran 18 races at Wilden Lane outside Kidderminster and six in Polesworth, near Tamworth.
He will now go on and ride in the AMCA national series.
There was also joy for Year 9 student Sam George who came second in the championship.
A South Bromsgrove High School spokesperson said: “Both boys are inspirational and everyone is hugely proud of them and following their progress with interest.”
