PUPILS from year eight at Catshill Middle School spent an eventful day at the Malvern Festival of Innovation, writes Alice Rees.
They found out about creative science, technology and entrepreneurship offered to those in years seven to nine.
This helped the youngsters see where a possible future working in science and technology could lie for them.
The day also consisted of lectures, workshops and an extensive exhibition of different organisations.
The Peter Jones Foundation award was won by Isabelle Bracknall, Ella Wood, Megan Sherratt and Poppy Harrison to promote a ‘gooey’ mobile phone case that sticks to surfaces. They also came up with the slogan ‘Stick to the things you love’.
They received Amazon gift vouchers from Mr Morris, the science teacher, for their achievement.
