Visitors to Bromsgrove's Bonfire Spectacular asked for their views to improve future events

VISITORS to this weekend’s Bonfire, Music and Firework Spectacular in Bromsgrove are being asked for their views to help make improvements to future events.

Bromsgrove District Council has launched a survey so people can have their say on the popular event which will be held from 5pm tomorrow at Sanders Park.

Participants have until 9am on November 13 to complete the questionnaire which will ask what they thought of the event, what should be changed and any ideas for the future.

This year’s event will have music from the start, the bonfire will be lit at 7pm and fireworks will be set off at 7.30pm.

Headliners Arcadia Roots will be supported by Bromsgrove singer Emily Badger.

Bromsgrove District Council hosts the event in partnership with Worcestershire cancer support charity Primrose Hospice, which receives a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales.

Tickets are now on sale from the Primrose Hospice High Street shop and the district council’s Parkside Customer Service Centre, or there will be cash-only sales from a High Street market stall on November 3 to 4 from 11am to 3pm, as well as on the gate on the evening from 5pm.

Residents are reminded the Kidderminster Road will be closed to traffic from 5pm until 9pm on the night to ensure the safety of the thousands of revellers.

Visit www.bromsgrove.gov.uk/consultations to take part in the survey or contact the district council’s events team on [email protected] or 01527 534030 for more information.
