Rednal man jailed for class A drug offences in Kidderminster

A REDNAL man has been jailed for three years for class A drug offences in Kidderminster.

Jermaine King, of Mull Close, appeared at Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday (25 October) where he pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

On June 9, officers from the North Worcestershire Offender Management Unit conducted an operation at a property in St Cecilia Close, Kidderminster under section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, following local concerns relating to drug misuse.

A quantity of heroin and crack cocaine was found on the 28-year-old, he was arrested and subsequently charged.




Detective Sergeant Martin Brown, said: “Jermaine King was found in possession of class A drugs, which would have undoubtedly caused harm and disruption within our communities.

“West Mercia Police treat drugs offences very seriously and we will continue to target this sort of behaviour.


“I hope this successful prosecution will encourage others who may have any information relating to illegal drugs misuse to please come forward.”
