THERE is now just a week to go to Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid’s Pensioner Advice and Information Fair.
The free event will be held at Parkside, off Market Street, from 10am to midday next Friday, November 3.
The Fair aims to provide residents who are retired, or heading to retirement, with information about the facilities available to them across Bromsgrove District.
Last year over 45 organisations attended including Bromsgrove Forum for Older People, the Stroke Association, the Cinnamon Trust, and sponsors of the Fair, Johnson Fleming.
Mr Javid said: “I’m delighted to be hosting this annual event for the second year. Last year we had hundreds of people attend, and over 45 different exhibitors offering a range of opportunities and activities for local residents.
“We have a brilliant network of organisations across the constituency and it’s important that we support our local community through events like this. If you are interested in becoming an exhibitor or a sponsor of the event, please do get in touch.”
