A CHARITY fashion show to raise funds for Bosom Friends will be held in a marquee at Barnt Green Cricket Club on Sunday between 4pm and 7pm.
Bosom Friends is a support group for patients in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Kidderminster who have undergone breast cancer treatment. It is run by the breast cancer nurses at The Alexandra Hospital, Redditch, and meets on the third Tuesday of the month.
All of the models taking part are currently undergoing or have undergone breast cancer treatment. This year 24 people will model dresses from Continental Collection, Barnt Green.
The fashion show will be hosted by BBC TV presenter and Bromsgrove resident Joanne Malin. All of the money raised will go towards buying vital screening equipment for the breast cancer unit at The Alex to help improve breast screening services.
Breast cancer nurse Julie Weston said: “The fashion show will inspire those who attend and give a confidence boost for those who take part.”
