AN ACCOUNT executive from Bromsgrove creative agency Superdream will plunge 10,000ft to raise funds for the town’s Primrose Hospice.
This Saturday in Oxfordshire Anna Brookes will overcome her fears, freefalling through the air at more than 120mph before parachuting to safety after dropping 5,000ft,
The company is hoping residents will get behind Anna’s brave bid and boost her fund-raising efforts.
She said: “On a personal level I wanted to challenge myself by taking on something completely outside of my comfort zone and a skydive definitely fulfils this.
“I’m excited about the jump, but also pretty terrified.”
The Primrose Hospice is Superdream’s 2017 charity of the year so was the natural choice for Anna.
“As an independent charity, it relies on donations and volunteers to continue their high standards of care, so raising money to support the worthwhile charity was the best way I felt I could contribute,” added Anna.
Kate Kelly, the charity’s corporate fund-raising manager, said: “We are delighted to see this increase in local support, and would certainly urge other businesses to contact us to see what opportunities are available for them to support their local Hospice.”
Businesses, community groups and residents can email [email protected] or call 01527 889796 for more information on organising events for the Primrose Hospice.
