Hagley Railway Station car park to close for one month from next week

HAGLEY Railway Station car park is set to close for a month due to water works.

The car park will be out of use from Monday, August 14, to Thursday, September 14, as work is carried out by Severn Trent Water but trains will continue to serve Hagley during this time.

London Midland is advising rail users to use alternative car parks at Kidderminster or Stourbridge Junction stations.

Brenda Lawrence, London Midland’s head of Snow Hill services, said: “Severn Trent Water has six months of work to improve the sewerage system around Hagley.

“All residents and business will be affected but we accept the work is necessary.

“We hope our passengers are not to inconvenienced but the reality is we simply can’t keep the car park open during these four weeks while the work takes place around Hagley station.”
