A MEETING is being held for residents to learn more about a proposed order which will aim to stop anti-social behaviour on a Rednal road.
Longbridge Safer Neighbourhood Team, in partnership with the police, are working towards a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) for Edgewood Road.
The meeting will be held at 7pm on August 8 at St Stephens Church and attendees will see a presentation explaining what a PSPO is, why the police are doing it, who will be running it and the powers it provides authorised officials to deal with anti-social behaviour and crime.
Coun Carole Griffiths, said: “Following numerous residents and shopkeepers attending Longbridge Neighbourhood Watch and sending concerns to myself, I am pleased to see the partnership between councillors, residents, businesses and the police working towards a PSPO.
“This will make a positive impact on those who live locally.”
