A PUPIL from Rednal Hill Infant School pupil is celebrating a fantastic achievement after successfully completing four academic years with 100 per cent attendance.

Karys Parr started in the nursery class at the school in September 2013 and since then has not missed one day.

As Karys gets ready to move on to the juniors in September, the school rewarded her for her remarkable achievement by giving her and four other children who have achieved three years of 100 per cent attendance a day’s bowling.

Karys also received four tickets for the pantomime at the Birmingham Hippodrome this Christmas and a specially engraved trophy.

Rednal Hill headteacher Elaine Le Gros said: “The school recognises and celebrates excellent attendance, but this achievement is extraordinary.”
