ARMED street robberies in Hagley resulted in three mobile phones being stolen, writes Jacob McDonald.
The incident happened between 4.50pm and 5pm on Wednesday (July 19) when two men approached the victims asking for the time.
Helping them, the person got out their mobile phone to check the time.
One of the men then demanded the phone, shoving the victim to the ground, before demanding their password.
The other man forced another victim to hand over their phone, while holding a metal object against their neck.
And a third mobile phone was taken.
