THERE will be more than 30 food and drink stalls in Bromsgrove on Sunday, June 25, when the town’s first ever food festival takes place.

The event will be held between 10am and 6pm on the High Street and there will be a multitude of items and flavours on offer.

Among those exhibiting will be Sarah Feisty Flavours. Barker’s Catering, Secco Cart, Sticks, Henley Chocolates, Napton Water Buffalo, Wychbold Fudge and Beki’s Brownies.

There will also be hot food stalls and some selling alcohol, including Hay Wines Ltd and Pimms Plus.

And there will be live entertainment, children’s activities, special offers from local pubs and restaurants around the town and some ‘live cookery theatre’ from local chefs who will be showcasing some of their dishes.

The event is being hosted by CJ’s Events of Warwickshire which runs similar food festivals in other towns.

Owen Prosser-Stock of CJ’s Events said: ‘The brand new festival will hopefully see huge numbers of visitors in the town.

“This weekend will see over 30 stalls, live entertainment, face painting, a photo booth and children’s crafts fill the High Street.”
