A CHARITY run in aid of the Primrose Hospice will take place at The Park Gate Inn, Kidderminster Road, on Sunday.
The inaugural Bumble Bimble has been organised by local runners and will be started at 10.30am at the pub by BBC Midlands Today and Hereford and Worcester radio presenter Joanne Malin.
Runners have donated to the Primrose Hospice to enter and choose between a five and a ten-mile course which are both very challenging, taking in picturesque local woodland, Chaddesley woods, Pepper Woods and Nuttels Wood.
Event organiser Alex Dentith said the runners could connect with nature in the spectacular Bromsgrove countryside and test themselves on the taxing terrain before relaxing in the grounds of the Park Gate Inn.
Emma Williams from the Primrose Hospice said places sold out in four days, adding the charity had been overwhelmed by support from the local community, including Asda, Co-op, Aldi, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons which had all made donations to support runners.
The Salt and Pepper Pig company will be providing hot food for spectators and visitors to the Park Gate and there will be an inflatable bouncy slide, bouncy castle, games and face painting available.
