THERE will be traditional English breakfasts aplenty on offer at Bromsgrove’s Methodist Centre next Saturday morning (May 20) – all in the name of charity.
The Bacon Buttie Boys will be out in force from 10am to 12.30pm to raise funds for Christian Aid Week.
The Christian Aid Big Brekkie event is supported by local egg producer Bumblehole Foods, breadmaker Warburtons, St Godwald’s Church and the Methodist Centre.
Organiser Sarah Stanhope said: “We’ve done house to house collecting for years, but times have changed and we decided a new approach was needed.
“So, we’ve joined forces for a big fry-up instead.
“Everyone is welcome and we also have a cake stall for those who just fancy coffee and home-made cakes.
“If you haven’t received a Christian Aid envelope through your door please come down on Saturday and make your donation that way.”
