MORE than 30 people turned out for a special picnic in Frankley to celebrate St George’s Day.
There were a variety of activities taking place during the event last Friday (April 21) on the grass outside the Frankley Plus Children’s Centre.
Among them were a bouncy castle, inflatables, cakes and drinks.
Tammy Clayton from the Frankley Family Forum, which organised the event, said: “It was a great opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the feast day of our national patron saint.”
