A NIGHT of live entertainment was held at Rubery Social Club last Friday (April 21) to celebrate volunteers and the contribution they make to the community.

The event was sponsored by Bromsgrove District Council and hosted by Sam Pagett and Chloe Barry.

It featured performances from an array of artists, including singers Alesi Summer, Scott Cartwright, ukelele-playing Search for a Star 2017 winner Joe James Thomas and dancers Nicholas and Courtney.

Daniel Teplitski who juggles heavy weighted balls and young singers Olivia and Issi Young also took to the stage.

Organiser Tony Maslen said it was a fantastic event that recognised the work of volunteers, adding everyone had a great time.
