Fire in motorhome extinguished on M42 between Bromsgrove and Hopwood

FIREFIGHTERS extinguished a blaze which broke out in a motorhome on the M42 motorway.

The incident happened at 5.11pm yesterday (Thursday) between Junction 1 (Bromsgrove) and Junction 2 (Hopwood, South Birmingam).

Water jets were used to put out the fire and gas cylinders were removed from the vehicle to prevent the blaze from escalating and further damage.
