RESIDENTS wanting a summer break this year can capitalise on value holidays to Blackpool being offered by The Rotary Club of Bromsgrove.

The offer is made possible thanks to a link-up between Blackpool hoteliers and Rotary Clubs which has been running for the last 30 years.

The seven night holidays – from July 27 to August 3 and between August 3 to August 10 – are available to those living in Bromsgrove, Rubery and Droitwich.

Accommodation is in long-established, quietly located and privately run town centre guest houses, are just £185 (single room supplement £40).

A £50 non-refundable deposit is needed on booking.

Johnson’s luxury coaches will pick up holiday-makers in the Artrix car park and at Rotary House in Droitwich.

On arrival, they will get tea or coffee and a biscuit as their luggage is taken to their room.

All rooms are en-suite with tea/coffee facilities and TVs together with bed, full English breakfast and a three-course ‘choice’ evening meal.

This holidays are ideal for adults looking for a break

A spokesperson for the Rotary Club said it was a myth people had to be retired to enjoy a Rotary holiday as there were no age restrictions, although the offer is unsuitable for very young children.

Among the Blackpool attractions are the famous tower, the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom, the Pleasure Beach, nostalgic piers and trams and the sea front.

There will also be optional excursions/shows and ‘bingo’ nights.

The fee does not include holiday insurance and early booking is available.

For more information call Ron Pearce on 07703 567982.

To book accommodation, all monies in payment for the holiday (cheques made payable to ‘The Rotary Club of Bromsgrove’) should be sent to Mrs Karen Bowe, 422, Birmingham Road, Marlbrook, Bromsgrove. Worcestershire. B61 0HL
