THERE were 48 people at the Macular Society Barnt Green Support Group’s first meeting of 2017, including three new members.
The get together on January 27 featured David Berry with his humorous tales of retirement.
The Macular Society is celebrating its 30th anniversary and at the next meeting – at 2pm on February 24 at the Parish Centre, behind St Andrew’s Church, Sandhills Road, Barnt Green – there will be a talk from John Dunston, the chairman of the Society. He will speak about will speak about ‘The Macular Society – Today and Tomorrow’ and there will be a tea for MD for £2.
A spokesperson for the Barnt Green group said: “Why not come along, find out more about macular conditions and help us celebrate?”
