TWO RESIDENTS from St John’s Court care home had a fan-tastic time after watching Bromsgrove Sporting’s historic FA Vase victory last Saturday (January 28).
Donald Clarke and Winnie Wilkes were invited to the game against Bristol Manor Farm by Sporting’s manager Paul Smith, who kindly supplied tickets for the supporters.
The duo, accompanied by carers Collete Matheson and Michelle Du-Roe, helped cheer-on Sporting to a 2-1 victory and a place in the FA Vase quarter-final.
A spokesperson for St John’s Court said: “As always we are grateful to Paul and everyone at Sporting for supporting us and inviting our residents to the games, it makes such a difference to them.”
