MORE than £40,000 worth of mobile phones have been stolen from the EE shop in Bromsgrove High Street after a burglary in the early hours of Sunday morning (January 29).

The raid happened between 3.34am and 3.37am when three men who were carrying a bin smashed the front of the store to gain entry before smashing another glass panel to get into the staff area and stock room.

Once inside they filled the bin with the mobile phones and then ransacked the rest of the shop before emptying cash drawers and fleeing through the front of the store.

The first man was white and was wearing a dark blue top with black trousers, black footwear and a grey beanie hat.

The second was also white. He was wearing a grey hoodie, dark grey jogging bottoms with white poppers down the side and dark footwear.

The third man was also white and wore a black hat, dark coat, black trousers and black trainers with white down the side.

Insp Sarah Corteen from Bromsgrove Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “There may have been people coming out of the nightclub or the kebab and chip shops at that time who could have seen something.

“There is also good quality CCTV at the shop which officers are currently studying .”

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
