A total of 100 people have been caught either drink or drug driving in West Mercia in the first 11 days of the police’s Christmas awareness campaign.
The latest figures from midnight on December 1 to December 11 show officers from the force and Central Motorway Police Group operating in the area have stopped and arrested 61 people on suspicion of drink-driving and 39 for being behind the wheel whilst under the influence of drugs.
