THERE is severed traffic in Bromsgrove after a vehicle fire on the M5.
The exit slip road is closed on the Southbound carriageway at Junction 4 (Lydiate Ash) after the incident, which happened at 11am and involved an HGV and trailer.
A fire crew from Bromsgrove and one from West Midlands Fire Service extinguished the blaze.
A spokesperson from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said Highways officers were currently on the scene, recovering the vehicle and repairing the road surface which had been damaged by the blaze.
The incident is impacting on the A38 and surrounding Bromsgrove roads.
