THE REMEMBRANCE feature pages ran in last week’s Bromsgrove and Droitwich Standards raised £530 for the Poppy Appeal.
Businesses and other organisations took out mini adverts to show their support for the Royal British Legion and to remember the fallen.
Standard editor Tristan Harris said: “We’d like to say a big thank you to all of the companies, groups and organisations who took part.
“It’s a fantastic sum to be handing over to the RBL so they can use it to help former servicemen and women and their families.”
