THE ORGANISERS of Bromsgrove’s annual late flowering chrysanthemum show are hoping the event will pull in the crowds as it did last year.
The event, which is now in its fourth year, will take place between 2pm and 4pm at the Burcot Garden Centre on Thursday (November 10).
Last year the show, organised by the Shirley Chrysanthemum Society, saw 61 vases of flowers with 217 blooms and four flower arrangements – the biggest and best response yet.
As well as the blooms on display, members of the society will be on hand to answer questions from members of the public.
And this year non-members of the society are also invited to enter chrysanthemums into the floral art category which has been thrown open for the first time.
The deadline for entries in 7pm on Tuesday (November 8).
