Bromsgrove firm raises over £100 for Birmingham Children's Hospital

A BAKE off held by Bromsgrove marketing agency Gough Bailey Wright has raised more than £100 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The theme of this year’s event was the company’s 80th anniversary.
Owners Sue Bail and Michelle Wright judged the entries to the competition and ten employees put on their oven gloves to take part.
Entries ranged from huge showstoppers to delicious pastries and plenty of chocolate cake.
Bake off winner, junior account executive Scott Jinks wowed the judges with his triple chocolate baked cheesecake and senior account manager Richard Harris’ oak tree shaped cake was awarded ‘most creative bake’.
Managing director Sue Bailey said she was amazed at the standard of entries which, she said, seemed to get better every year.
“It’s a great fun way to bring people together and raise money for charity – and we get to eat all the entries,” she added.
