Bromsgrove charity store aims to raise funds for animal shelters

A CAMPAIGN has been launched by Pets at Home to raise funds for animal rescue centres.

The drive, being participated in by the Bromsgrove store, will see cash go to the company Support Adoption For Pets which will see cash raised for animal rescue centres in and around the district.

The team will host a range of activities for its customers, including an in-store raffle, in order to raise funds to support the work of the shelters.

Store manager Alan Philip said local shelters were vital in keeping abandoned pets healthy and happy, but sadly additional funding was needed so they could continue their ‘great’ work.

Half the money raised will be donated to animal rescues in Bromsgrove, with the other half going to the grant program for animal charities across the country to apply for.
