BROMSGROVE School’s young enterprise team GECO competed at the regional final, held in Worcester on April 28, scooping five awards.

The school fought off competition from 46 others across Herefordshire and Worcestershire and the team was supported by two local business representatives – Lyndon Stokes (The Best of Bromsgrove) and Kam Rai (Kip McGrath) who helped them build their brand.

The team did not progress to the next stage but received the Best Presentation of the evening award.

Bromsgrove School teacher and Young Enterprise Centre Lead Joanne Williams said: “I am proud of GECO – all team members dedicated time and effort in running their business with positivity.

“Many lessons were learned over the course of the year, as well as earning themselves a respectable profit too.

“I am certain I have witnessed some successful business people for the future.”
