Bromsgrove District Housing Trust is replacing third party contractors with its own internal roofing team to meet the growing needs of its tenants.
The core team comprises roofer Matt Fenton, who comes with strong knowledge of working on different types of roofs and Tom Barrett who has extensive experience working on community housing projects similar to bdht.
Mike Brown, chief executive of bdht, said: “We are really proud of our new in-house roofing team.
“Since their appointment, they have carried out 376 roofing jobs, with 339 jobs completed on the first visit.
“This is equivalent to a 90 per cent success rate for first time fixes.
“Beyond the numbers, the team have also delivered quality work.
“To date, we have not had a single recall or complaint on any of the work undertaken by the team.”
