THERE was goals galore in Division One of the Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination with the ball hitting the back of the net 24 times across four games.

League leaders Red Lion maintained their position at the top with a comfortable 9-0 victory away at second-from-bottom Redditch Town with the help of hat-tricks from Anthony McNally and Jordan Street.

Redolence Park secured a 5-3 victory away at AFC Lions courtesy of goals from Tim Lees (2), Laan David, Paul Jeynes and Andy Seager.

Ashley Atkinson (2) and Tommy Williams got on the scorehseet for Lions.




Studley Railway enjoyed a 4-2 victory over Redditch Cross thanks to goals from Habib Bauben, Matthew Roland, Rolan Rignall and Chris Hands.

Meanwhile, Beoley Village edged past Winyates Wanderers 1-0 with the only goal of the game coming from Ryan Richards.


In Subsidiary Group Three, Millfield Rovers claimed a 3-1 victory over Rubery Legends thanks to goals from debutant Joe Mayo-Braiden, Shane Smith and Jamie Wright.

Rubery Bridge crashed out of the third round of the Kidderminster Hospital Cup after succumbing to a 4-0 defeat to Woodside United.

Elsewhere, New Woodland Cottage came from behind to book their place in the final of the Hunt Crane Cup following a 3-2 AET victory over VKL United.

Ryan Butler, Stuart Byng and Bradley Hawtin netted for Cottage; Liam Robinson and Rob French for United.
