CAR OWNERS are being warned to be on their guard after two men were spotted acting suspiciously, checking out vehicles.

The incident happened in the early hours of Thursday morning (March 31) in Belbroughton when the pair went down a small road and started looking in several vehicles.

When they were startled they left the area but officers now want residents to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods.

A police spokesperson said: ” The Safer Neighbourhood Team and local response will pay particular attention to this area over the next coming nights to try and reduce vehicle crime and other offences following this recent incident.”
