RAIDERS attempted to break into Barclays Bank in Rubery by making a hole in the roof.
The incident, at the back of the bank in New Road, took place between 5.45pm on Monday and 8.45pm on Tuesday (March 7 and 8) when the bank was closed.
After scaling a fence at the back of the bank, they climbed on the roof and removed a large section of tiles before replacing them with cardboard to cover the hole.
