A TEENAGER has been charged in connection with the shooting in Rubery on August 17.
And the 17-year-old from West Heath who cannot be named appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court yesterday (Thursday).
He was arrested on August 19 and bailed while enquiries were conducted into the shooting in a flat in Rubery Lane South where a 17-year-old man was seriously injured.
The victim recovered and was released from hospital a week later.
Three men – two aged 19 and one who is 31 – arrested on suspicion of attempted murder remain on police bail pending further enquiries.
