MORE than £80,000 worth of equipment, including tyres and tools have been stolen from a business based on a Bromsgrove industrial estate.

More than 100 truck and trailer tyres worth £22,000, along £60,000 worth of tools were taken from the unit on the Aston Fields Industrial Estate between 12.15am and 2.30pm on April 27.

To gain access to the compound, a stolen lorry was driven onto the premises.

The raiders then forced open the storage containers and loaded their haul onto the HGV before driving off.

It is unknown as to which direction they headed off in.

Police investigating the incident are yet to locate and recover the vehicle and are eager to hear from anyone who witnessed anything at that time or anyone with any information on the theft.

Anyone with any information or anyone who has been offered similar items for sale should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
