MORE than 40 children from a Barnt Green based music academy will take to the stage at Bromsgrove’s Artrix to showcase their skills.

The youngsters, from Bromsgrove, Blackwell, Rubery, Rednal, Redditch, Alvechurch and other areas, will perform the Future Rock Stars – Music Academy Midlands show at 4pm on Saturday (October 25).

Through band performances, ensembles, duets and and solos, there will be a variety of music played and sang – from rock to classical.

Students, some as young as five, will take to the stage for the event, which will celebrate 12 months of tuition and their hard work and dedication to playing music.

The show will feature a variety of instruments, incliding piano, keyboard, guitar, bass guitar and drums.

Academy owner Ryan Cush said: “We’d like to invite the local community along to experience a wonderful afternoon of music and to show their support for the benefits of music for youth.”

Tickets, at £6.50 (£6 concessions), are available online at www.artrix.co.uk or by calling 01527 577330.
