FORMER World heavyweight boxing champion Frank Bruno is heading to Rubery on Friday, July 31.
The FREE fun day will take place between 1pm and 5pm. Big Frank will be at Deelands Hall, Deelands Road, from 2pm to 5pm.
There will be a meet and greet up from 2pm to 3pm when people will be able to speak to him, have their photos taken with him and get a signed copy of his autobiography. Tickets are needed for that.
Then from 3pm to 5pm, Frank will take centre stage in a full-time boxing ring where 10 children will get to have a pads session with the British boxing legend.
There will also be a host of other activities, including other well-known Birmingham champion boxers Frankie Gavin and Matt Windle.
And there will be a football cage, yoga, a bouncy boxing ring and an arcade punching machine where people will be able to test the strength of their punches.
The event has been organised by Trident Reach, which runs Deelands Hall, in conjunction with and funded by the Birmingham Community Boxing Project, Clarion Housing Group an Northfield Community Partnership.
The meet and greets are charged for. Everything else is free.
Email [email protected] for more information on the meet and greet sessions and to book places.
Meet and greet places are limited so people are urged to book early.
