AN ILLEGAL e-scooter has been taken off of Bromsgrove’s streets after the rider failed to stop when directed by police.
The rider was quickly detained and the vehicle has been seized by Bromsgrove Police.
It is now being processed for destruction.
A spokesperson for Bromsgrove Police said: “Electric scooters are illegal to use in public places, including roads and pavements, unless part of an authorised rental scheme.
“Failing to stop for police only makes matters worse and has resulted in further offences being dealt with.”
