TOM Sadler marked his return to the Bromsgrove RFC side with a hat-trick as the Boars ran in 11 tries in a remarkable 73-31 victory against Lutterworth.
Sadler returned in style with a treble after almost a season out with injury while Rich Hance dotted down twice for the Boars at Finstall Park.
And Daniel Rodden, Steve Leach, Jordan Maddocks, Will Harris, Joe Walker and debutant James Hodgkins all crossed for tries in the club’s final home game of the season.
The Boars added 18 points from the kicking tee as Tom Mitchell kicked eight conversions while Will Harris added the extras once.
Debutant try-scorer Hodgkins is a product of the club’s academy while fellow club-grown players D Rodden also crossed for a try with his identical brother Alex on the bench.
The result means Bromsgrove sit fifth in the Regional 1 Midlands table just three points behind third-placed Stourbridge with one game left to play.
Bromsgrove finish the season with a trip to Banbury on Saturday, April 11 with kick-off at 3pm at Bodicote Park.
