BROMSGROVE MP Bradley Thomas has urged residents to use the town’s Post Office counter in TG Jones on the High Street after it was saved from closure, writes Chinaza Eke.
The counter was due to close on June 6 but it is now staying and the MP’s petition to keep the branch was signed by more than 1,000 people.
Bromsgrove High Street’s branch will keep offering the same Post Office products and services, all over the same opening hours.
Mr Thomas is now encouraging residents to continue supporting the local branch to ensure it is not put at risk of closure again.
He added: “I said we needed a Post Office in the town centre and I kept my promise by doing everything I could to fight just for that.
“And now we’ve saved the branch in TG Jones from closure, it’s vital we all continue to support and use this vital community service.”
