MEADOW PARK under-18s side are celebrating after being crowned champions of the Central Warwickshire Youth Football League, writes Neil Gordon.
Park secured the title with 28 points from 12 games.
The club finished three points ahead of second-placed Kidderminster Lions Blues, while Catshill finished third on 22 points.
The side won nine matches, drew once and lost just twice, playing against mostly older opponents during their successful season.
And the title was secured with a final-day 7-1 victory over Solihull W with a brace from Callum Hancox, plus strikes by Noah Raven, Jack Bate, Jack Sargeant, Toby Weekes and Taylor Field.
Meadow Park manager Mark Whitehouse said: “The lads have had an incredible season, playing some great football.
“Winning the league has been a great achievement playing against teams who are a year older, and I’m proud to coach such a great set of young men.”
