THE OFFICIAL opening date for Droitwich Spa Lido has been announced.
The popular outdoor pool – one of just a few saltwater lidos in the country – will open on March 2. This is the earliest opening to date.
Bosses a the pool are planning to heat the pool to 20°C.
Posting on the Lido’s Facebook page, the Friends of Droitwich Spa Lido (FoDSL) said: “An early opening means longer days, lighter evenings and that first proper outdoor swim feeling – all a little sooner than normal.
“More updates will be coming soon, we can’t wait to welcome you back to the Lido.”
