In the listing on its website, estate agent Right Move describes it as a ‘vibrant busy late-night bar/restaurant on the busy Bromsgrove High Street’. It also states the venue has a 4am late licence on Fridays and Saturdays and an annual forecasted turnover of £996,312 (£699,291 on drinks and £265,682 on food with £11,339 from other funding sources. It points out these are predicted revenues and it did not have any trading figures.
The Slug and Lettuce at Bromsgrove is available on a turnover tenancy agreement with the Stonegate Group. This includes a ‘wet tie’ to Stonegatefor drinks. The agreement is free of tie for all machines.
Rent in year one would be £55,270 inclusive of a turnover based rent.
And the headline rent in year two is £68,270 inclusive of a turnover based rent.
