BROMSGROVE MP Bradley Thomas has revealed the winner of his first-ever Christmas card design competition.
Hundreds of children across the constituency have been getting into the festive spirit by getting creative and drawing the design for the local MP’s Christmas card.
After a lot of deliberation due to the high quality of the designs, Mr Thomas has revealed Leah, aged eight, from Lickey End First School, won this year’s competition.
Her design now features on the front of the MP’s Christmas card which has already been sent to hundreds of people.
The runners-up were George, seven from Bromsgrove, and Maia, eight, from Lickey End First School.
Mr Thomas visited Lickey End First School where he presented Leah and Maia with a certificate and a House of Commons Christmas tree decoration.
He said: “After a sleigh full of entries, it was hard to whittle down the hundreds of excellent designs to find the winner.”
He congratulated Leah for her ‘very festive design’ and thanked the runners-up George and Maia and everyone who took the time to design their entries.
