MIDLANDS Air Ambulance Charity is urging its Worcestershire supporters to show their love and help save lives by joining in its annual Wear it Red campaign next February.

Wear it Red which runs between Monday 9 and Sunday, February 15, 2026 provides an opportunity to fundraise for the charity which is entirely reliant on public donations to operate.

Among the many easy ways to take part beyond simply wearing red are themed bake sales with a ‘bake it red’ twist, partake in a creative ‘paint it red’ activity.

People who register via the charity’s website will also receive a free digital resource pack full of inspiring fundraising ideas and tips, along with a special message from the charity’s lifesaving aircrew.

Diane Thomson, Worcestershire fundraising executive at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “Wear it Red is a fantastic chance for our Worcestershire supporters to come together and champion a cause that directly benefits people in their local communities.

“With £16 million needed  each year to fund our daily operations, every fundraising activity really counts.

“We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support shown by the people of Worcestershire, which ensures we can keep delivering essential emergency care across the county.”

The campaign is being sponsored by M6 toll for the second year.

All contributions help raise vital funds, ensuring its lifesaving work can continue in Worcestershire.

Maxine Bate, communications manager at M6 toll added: “M6 toll is proud to sponsor such an important campaign that highlights the tremendous work that the charity does, and that celebrates the volunteers and crew that make the life-changing missions possible.

“Wear it Red” is a campaign designed for inclusivity, whether that is a community group, school, business or even an inspiring individual.

“All money raised supports the work of the charity, which undertakes on average 4,300 lifesaving missions a year.”
