A MUCH-CHANGED Bromsgrove RFC returned to winning ways with a 53-22 bonus point victory against Lutterworth.
Despite missing nine players through injury the Boars ran in seven tries to cruise to victory while the home side had a player sent off after the break at Ashby Lane.
Tries from Woody Pugh, who crossed twice, Ben Tibbetts, Rhys Williams, Will Harris, Jamie Constantine and a penalty try earned Bromsgrove their biggest away win of the season.
The result means the Boars sit fourth in the Regional 1 Midlands table, seven points behind leaders Bournville.
A young Bromsgrove side flew out of the blocks as Pugh and Tibbetts crossed in the first quarter of the game while Williams kicked a penalty.
The referee awarded Lutterworth a penalty try which kept the home side in the contest before Williams kicked another penalty.
And Pugh grabbed his second of the game soon after to put the Boars in command.
Lutterworth closed the gap between the teams with a second try before a penalty try on the stroke of half time put Bromsgrove 20 points ahead at the interval.
The home side began the second half with 14 players as the two teams traded tries with Williams dotting down for the visitors.
And a Lutterworth player received a second yellow card later in the half to leave the home side down to 14-men for the rest of the match.
The home side claimed a bonus point try despite the red card before Harris and Constantine crossed for the Boars to put the seal on a dominant victory.
Bromsgrove are next in action against Newport (Salop) on Saturday, December 13 with kick-off at 2.15pm at Finstall Park.
