A MAN and a woman have been taken to hospital after a car overturned on the M5 near Rubery and Longbridge.
Police, fire and ambulance service crews were called out to the smash on the M5 between junctions 4 and 4A, which happened at around 8.15am on Wednesday (November 12).
Police were the first to be called out, with officers remaining at the scene to manage the traffic and assist other emergency services.
One of three lanes were closed, causing heavy traffic which lasted for around five hours after the crash.
Two Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Bromsgrove Fire Station were called at 8:16am, where they found the car on its roof on the hard shoulder.
West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to care for the man and woman who were in the car.
The pair were assessed and found with minor injuries which required further assessment at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.
