BROMSGROVE will come together tomorrow (Tuesday, November 11) in the High Street to mark Armistice Day.

A short service will begin at the Odd Fellows Memorial (above the EE Shop) at 10.55am.

There will be a two-minute silence at 11am as part of the event organised by the Bromsgrove Royal British Legion.

The service will be led by Rev Ray Khan, the Bromsgrove RBL Chaplain and Vicar at St John’s Church.

Armistice Day commemorates the end of the First World War which happened at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.

Everyone is welcome to attend the service.

Yesterday, more than 2,000 people attended the annual Remembrance Sunday Parade in Bromsgrove.
