CATSHILL’S Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service garnered a bumper turnout when it was held earlier.

The parade journeyed from Catshill Middle School to the War Memorial on the junction of  Stourbridge Road and Meadow Road.

There, a poignant service was held featuring The Exhortation, a two-minute silence and The Kohima Epitaph.

After that, wreaths were laid at the memorial, which had been decorated with poppies knitted and created by members of the community. These included students from Chadsgrove School and College.
