THE VASAANTI restaurant in Droitwich has been named ‘Restaurant of the Year in Worcestershire’ in the Master Chef Promotions Business Hospitality and Excellent Award.

Representatives from the Indian eatery attended the prestigious awards ceremony last Wednesday.

The Vasaanti, run by owner Akbar Miah, known as Aki, manager Alamin Miah and their team, has become very popular – not just across Bromsgrove, Droitwich and the rest of Worcestershire but also further afield.

The restaurant prides itself on the experienced staff providing honest good quality cuisine with traditional flavours while waiter Baz looks after the customers.

Aki has serving up curries in Worcestershire for the last 20 years and formerly ran a restaurant in Bromsgrove before moving to Droitwich.

The team at the family-run restaurant wants to thank friends, family and customers for their votes.

The Master Chef Promotions Awards recognise excellence in hospitality businesses, enabling them to showcase their talent and dedication to the industry.
